Student Advisory Council visits 8th Grade

Hi all, 

The Superintendent's Student Advisory Council (SAC) - which includes former Highlands student Angelina Pang - will be visiting Highlands 8th graders on Friday 4/11 at/after lunch.  

They will be available to mingle/socialize with 8th graders inside the Cafetorium during MS lunch and then all of 8th grade will come to the Cafetorium for an interactive Q&A session with these students.  

Please save the date on your calendar and start prepping questions from every student.  Maybe we can collect them on notecards, sort them by topic and try to address as many as possible with the visiting high schoolers. 

Most elementary schools didn't get this opportunity this year.  It was just gonna be Ramona and Garfield, but I pushed to have Highlands included.  I think this will be a great opportunity for our students.  

Please connect with Christian with any questions and send him question notecards.  We could also make the notecard idea into a Google form.  I'll let y'all figure that out!
